I get the steak bento box and it has not let me down yet. My husband and son get sushi and are usually pretty happy with their selections. This last visit the food was good, restaurant got packed quickly for lunch. It was really cold, I had to grab my jacket from my car and the restroom needed some serious attention.
Not many sushi places in the Shreveport area. This was one that I found and it was decent. A bit small and moderately busy when arrived. Ordered the monkey brain for the appetizer. It was okay. The outside tempura breading was a bit much. The titanic sushi roll was good. The main point of the meal was the sashimi. I like to judge a sushi facility based on the sashimi. Originally ordered the uni and toro, but they checked and didn't have any in stock. So instead, I ordered the red snapper, salmon, and scallop sashimi. When the sashimi came out, I was impressed by the presentation and cuts. Very thick cuts that were pretty good. Nothing amazing like Kata Robata in Houston, but good nonetheless. Overall a good experience.
We picked this place on a rush due to family coming to visit and we all needed dinner - late but dinner none the less. I somehow forgot to take pictures of the food but the experience had me sold. Since it was hour till close we got our order to go so they can get us out quicker. The workers were so nice, the sushi chef was Asian or looked it and man!! He made some delicious sushi and sashimi. I got the grilled teriyaki chicken with miso soup, ginger salad and steamed rice. My sister in law got the teriyaki chicken bento box with a spider roll and my husband got sashimi bento and california roll. All our food was so flavorful, we shared what we could. My toddler loved the grilled veggies that came with the entree, which is saying something cause normally she doesn't! The teriyaki chicken was kinda soft on the sauce flavor but overall still delicious
We rented their private room for a party. Great service, great food. I recommend highly.
